{"id":937,"date":"2019-10-21T16:17:14","date_gmt":"2019-10-21T15:17:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.withcreative.co.uk\/dev\/golf-day-raises-2500-to-support-teaching-of-money-skills-in-primary-schools\/"},"modified":"2021-01-14T23:27:03","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T23:27:03","slug":"golf-day-raises-2500-to-support-teaching-of-money-skills-in-primary-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.withcreative.co.uk\/langricks\/golf-day-raises-2500-to-support-teaching-of-money-skills-in-primary-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"GOLF DAY RAISES \u00a32500 TO SUPPORT TEACHING OF MONEY SKILLS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<header>Fourteen teams of golfers took part in a successful Charity Golf Day event for chartered accountancy firm\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.langricks.com\/\">Langricks<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shrigleyhallgolf.co.uk\/\">Shrigley Hall<\/a>\u00a0in Macclesfield and raised \u00a32500 to help money education for children.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>Langricks has made an ongoing commitment to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.debtaware.org\/\">DebtAware<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 the specialist education arm of the national\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.debtadvicefoundation.org\/\">Debt Advice Foundation<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 to raise funds to support a unique \u2018Money Skills for Life\u2019 programme in primary schools.<\/p>\n<p>The successful\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.debtaware.org\/programmes\/working-with-primary-schools\/\">programme<\/a>, which has been devised by children for children, operates in around 160 schools in Lancashire, but funds are needed to extend the teaching into Cheshire and Yorkshire and across the UK. It has just launched its first skills programme in Timperley, Altrincham.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Langrick commented: \u201cIt was a great turnout and we are thrilled with the amount of money we raised.
