\nIt\u2019s no surprise that the Conservatives are firmly behind home-ownership, but they\u2019ve also promised a \u201cBetter Deal for Renters\u201d which means the end of Section 21 as we know it and the introduction of a lifetime deposit which moves with the tenant. Despite sounding the death knell for Section 21, the Tories claim that under their government, landlords will have better rights of possession, so let\u2019s see how that works out. We\u2019re yet to see the detail of a Social Housing White Paper which could well give tenants more redress, more powers and give landlords more regulations to observe.<\/p>\n
