The new RentalPassport™, backed by Homes under the Hammer\u2019s<\/em>, Lucy Alexander, gives agents a quick and easy appraisal of prospective tenants at the touch of a button, eliminating pointless viewings from house hunters without the right credentials and references.<\/p>\n

A quick and easy tool, it allows agents to vet people before they view a home, selecting the tenants in a good financial position, with references and who are in a position to move quickly.<\/p>\n

The RentalPassport™ also gives house hunters an advantage, helping them get ahead of the competition by completing a mini pre-screening, including affordability, credit history, employment details and previous references in advance. Straightforward to complete, it returns an answer in minutes.<\/p>\n

Lucy Alexander explained why she has backed the new tool: \u201cThe new RentalPassport™ is a brilliant concept and is a much quicker, easier way to complete tenant referencing. While it offers obvious benefits for busy agents, it\u2019s also a big draw for house hunters who are also pressed for time and want to find the right home as quickly as possible. It helps good tenants with a good record get ahead in a competitive market.\u201d<\/p>\n

Managing director of LegalforLandlords, Sim Sekhon, explained the thinking behind the new system, \u201cThe new RentalPassport™ helps Agents significantly reduce the viewing to offer ratio – the average agent could have ten viewings per offer; we\u2019re looking to reduce that to just three. It will save a huge amount of time, cutting out the time wasters and allowing agents to invest their time better elsewhere.
