The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has released an updated How to Rent guide.<\/p>\n

This update means that landlords and letting agents must make sure that new tenants, or those renewing, are issued the correct version of the guide. It can be issued be either as a hard copy or, if the tenant agrees, via email as a PDF attachment.<\/p>\n

Please note: Failure to provide tenants with an updated How to Rent guide before serving a Section 21 notice will render the notice invalid.<\/p>\n
