\nDigitalisation of Right to Rent checks delayed<\/h4>\n

The government has delayed the digitalisation of Right to Rent checks until 30th September 2022.<\/p>\n

Currently, Right to Rent checks can be carried out using video calls and tenants can send scanned documents via email or mobile app.<\/p>\n

Once the changes kick in, landlords will need to use the Right to Rent Online Checking Service on gov.uk<\/a> to view the immigration status of existing and prospective tenants.<\/p>\n
